Main purpose of the jobWe have an opportunity for an experienced full-stack developer to join the IT team of a global fashion brand based in the North East of England. The role will be an integral part of the development of the eCommerce platform solution. The role is for a keyin-house developer to make winning contributions to the eCommerce product roadmap, deliver excellent solutions and provide world class BAU support.You will contribute to the development of the eCommerce platform solution and will work closely with the Senior Developer and colleagues in the development team including members of the wider business (Digital Product Owner and eCommerce team) to produce bestin class web user experiences.You will collaborate with external and internal engineers, product owner and the business in a fast-moving, environment to build a class-leading web and next-level mobile experience.You will be developing across the layers of the solution to provide the best possible user experience.Main duties & responsibilities1. Primary responsibility to deliver expertly crafted Magento solutions.2. Working as part of a modern Agile development team focussing on delivering world class BAU support, functional enhancements, and key E-commerce projects as part of the product roadmap.3. Maintenance and management of the Magento site (DevOps / AWS / Software) ensuring developments never compromise up-time and delivery of a great user experience.4. Focus on weaknesses in product for example mobile platform, search and category navigation.5. Ability to work with wider business teams including the Direct to consumer (DTC) department.6. Work to deliver website solutions that provide a meaningful and consistent customer flow.7. This is a back end focused role but at times you may have to be involved in front end development.8. You will advocate for your users and champion user-centred design to deliver intuitive, innovative and delightful user experiences.9. You will take a thoroughly collaborative approach and work closely with key stakeholders including Development, Design, Marketing, Merchandising, and other cross-functional teams to deliver the platform and experiences in support of the business requirements.10.
