We are recruiting for their busy South Shields - The Nook Branch!JOB DESCRIPTION:* Engage with customers face-to-face, selling them different options in foreign currencies - including travellers cheques and loaded money cards* Ensuring you achieve your foreign exchange targets including set KPIs* Providing exceptional customer service at all times* Assisting with day to day operations of the foreign exchange bureau* Monitoring local competition and managing rates and margins effectively on a daily basis* Monitoring stock levels of foreign currency and ensuring that minimum quantities are maintained* Accurate cash reconciliation and banking* Responsible for minimising risk and mitigating errors* Participating in promotional events to promote the branch* Dealing with related administration and other ad hoc duties* Being flexible to work a 37.5 hour week over 7 days (rota for weekends with time off in lieu in the week)THE PACKAGE:This is a well-established company, with award winning training to support you and give you long term opportunities for career development. If you have left the industry during the pandemic, this is the best time to return, as things are picking up dramatically and this is a company who have stood firm in a challengingtime, to continue their expansion.
