Are you a Class 2 driver looking for something a little different to day to day driving Would you like a mixture of dayshift and nightshifts Would you like to work for a company who will train you up for Gritting in the Winter SeasonArea - South Queensferry, Linlithgow and Lochgelly.*Please note this client has work all year round, this is not only for the Winter Season. During the Summer months you will be required to carry out general road maintenance.*Dayshift - £11.60Nightshift - £14.62Weekend - £16.87Nightshift Overtime - £20.25The job spec - * General working includes all types of road maintenance - Cyclic Litter picking, Bridges Cyclic, Sweeping (Trained), Gully Cleaning, Road Patching and various repairs to road side.* A rolling 4 week shift pattern -* Nights (Normal, no standby) - 19:00-06:30 (55 hrs) Mon-Fri.* Nights (on Standby 7 days) - Normal Shift 19:00-06:30 (55 hrs) Mon-Fri, Standby on Weekend 18:30 to 06:30, and cover nights from 18:00-07:00 (caters for changeover of shifts)* Days (Normal shift, No Standby) - 07:45-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-15:30 on Fri (40 hrs per week basic)* Days (on Standby, 7 Days) - Normal Shift -07:45-16:30 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-15:30 on Fri, Standby on Weekend 06:00 to 19:00, and cover days from 16:30-19:00 (15:30 on Fridays) (caters for changeover if shifts)Training -* 4hr Induction then training is provided to give you the basics for being on the road. Paired up with Experienced Operatives.* TTMBC - Basic Traffic Management Training for High Speed Roads, Telehandler Training, 12D training (Traffic Lights) and Winter Maintenance Ticket included. A standby payment of £10 will be paid Monday to Friday on top of your hourly rate and £20 for Saturday and Sunday.Permanent positions are available after 6 months.For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence.
