Job Description

Health Care Assistants (Drivers)South Queensferry £12.08 per hour, Mileage at 45p per mileLife at PrestigePeople are at the very heart of Prestige, and we want to make life better for them. As a Care Assistant, youll join us in our continued efforts to make life better for our clients.Prestige Nursing & Care has provided home care for over 75 years and we have 30 local offices in England and Scotland. We look after a variety of clients in their own homes and we also work with local care homes, nursing homes and the NHS.Who will you be helping to make life better forOur clients are looking for somebody to help with domestic tasks around the house, support with all personal care, medication management and administration, and general emotional support.Whats on offer for you

  • We pay a very competitive rate of £12.08/Hr, and mileage at a rate of 45pence/mile for car drivers.
  • Additional holiday accrual of £1.46p for each hour worked.
  • A variety of either full, part time or banking shifts to allow for "private and family life"
  • We offer a very lucrative "Refer A Friend Scheme £500/subject to T&Cs"
  • We will always endeavour to keep you on the same community runs however flexibility is required meaning that suitable applicants must be available to travel Edinburgh wide.

Shift Pattern (Part Time)
  • Week 1 - Monday/Tuesday/Saturday/Sunday 7am - 2pm
  • Week 2 - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 7am - 2pm
Shift Pattern (Full Time) - Days as above however hours are 7am - 2pm AND 4pm to 10pmWhat can we offer you

Were looking for:
  • Six months paid experience in care preferred but not essential as full training available
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Caring, resilient, committed and reliable
  • A drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential- business insurance req
  • Good professional and personal references
