Technical Lighting Designer - Home/ office based £30,000 - £35,000 basic +Our client, a well established Lighting Design Consultancy, is seeking a Senior Lighting Designer ideally with 3-5 years scheme design Consultancy experience. Based in North London you can operate from the office and/ or your home with regular meetings on Teams/ Hangouts with the team and management as well as client/architect meetings. As the new normal way of working develops further there is a degree of flexibility in the working conditions.The role is primarily about the production of technical information for the Company (CAD Drawings, Revit Outputs, Specifications, Fittings Books etc.) as well as developing creative conceptual solutions. The role will also involve the development and production of modelling information for artificial and daylight predictions and extending the use of Revit as a design tool for the organisation. You will regularly be involved in production of technical specification packages, assist with the preparation of concept Information, verification of all technical/statutory scheme requirements, organise mock-up/sample review for each project, preparation of project cost information and organising ad hoc in-team’ design sessions. You should have software proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Scheduling Software (Smartsheets/Monday.com), Dialux, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Office Suite & working in both PC and Mac environments.The expectations are that as a Senior you will have the level of commitment and able to work independently whilst maintaining a high standard of design output.
