A growing insurance claims/building repair organisation who has experienced some impressive growth are now seeking to appoint a new home-based Supplier Performance Manager, to cover the South East.The ideal person will already be in a similar role, working for a building repair network, Loss Adjusters or Insurers, given the insurance knowledge you will have, although they will also consider others working in a different industries if you have a proven track record in Supplier Management.You will be responsible for managing around 20 Suppliers and making sure they are hitting pre agreed KPI’s and by understanding trends and analysis of data, you will effectively manage and drive the performance of a selected number of suppliers within a designated geographic area.The suppliers you will be working with include building contractors, surveyors, disaster management and other specialist companies undertaking work for the group.This is an in-the-field’ operational role which requires the proactive performance management andauditing of the supply chain in order to achieve the highest levels of customer service, safety andthe best financial outcome for the companies clients.You will be provided with all the MI and Data needed to keep track of these suppliers and will be required to audit both on site and online, coming up with performance plans for each organisation, using data and feedback to drive continuous performance improvements with your suppliers.You will also be required to utilise various management tools when appropriate, such as sanctions/limitations of work, coaching, training and development techniques and presentation of relevant performance data, particularly customer satisfaction and cost information at structured performance review meetings.You will also be required to managing the whole client relationship too, so you will also need strong relationship management skills too!As above this is a home-based role, with occasional travel to head office in Aylesbury.Salary on offer is £40-47,000, plus a monthly car allowance of £525.20 days holiday plus bank holidays to start (this increases by 1 day per years’ service), Company Pension SchemeIf you wish to discuss this role in more detail, please contact Kieran Boyle at CKB Recruitment.
