Solutions Engineer _ New UK teamBase Salary is up to £60,000 (1st Year Guaranteed as linked to US target already achieved) + Car + Insurance etcThis unusual opportunity offers you the chance to work for a leading revered vendor name within Automated Certificate Management, PKI space but in at an early and very exciting stage of their UK/EMEA journey giving you a pivotal role from the start. Being well established in the US youll enjoy full support from a slick and highly successful American operation and be able to capitalise on existing FTSE customers in the UK as clients. Despite being a new territory, my client has been enjoying mainly incoming sales so far without outbound activity. You will be the Solutions Engineer for - to start with - x3 UK New Business Account Execs tasked with supporting them in a technical capacity to bring in new business. You will be responsible as the technical PKI expert providing the technical consultation to the clients technical stakeholders, building POCs, demonstrating the product, building PKI / automated certificate management environments. Youll be reporting to the Head of Solutions Engineering in the US and play a key role in product. Whilst you need to be highly technical and well versed in DevOps, PKI and Certificate Management you also need to have client/customer experience in a Sales Engineering / Architecture / Pre-Sales capacity, to include the above duties as well as public speaking at trade events.This hugely exciting opportunity is led by inspirational leaders who have a proven track record in guiding raw start-ups to trade sell and IPO for previous start-ups in the UK and US. This is a fast-paced hard working environment requiring commitment and desire not associated with a typical 9-5 role and youll often find yourself working on documentation or building a clients solution outside of normal hours. Time will fly but the company has a strict ethos on Trust and respect and team support 24/7. You can expect up to 30% travel.We will be ideally looking for the successful candidate to have a good technical background ideally having come from a DevOps or DevSecOps background with a good understanding of the challenges DevOps teams face with implementing security controls and the value PKI, ACME and the value that automated digital certificates or certificate automation brings to the process. Youll also have some Pre-Sales or Solutions Consulting / Architecture experience and be able to defend your idea and challenge a clients current thinking in a professional respectful manner.Please send your CV through in word format.
