These are what make us such a great team, working together as one to achieve our vision.The roleWe have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Regional Clinical Services Manager. The role will be based across our Baycroft care home portfolio, so regular travel around all the Baycroft sites will be required. Reporting directlyto the Strategic Head of Baycroft, Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support and guidance to nursing staff around clinical best practice and service improvement, including effective use of clinical systems
  • Complete group and individual clinical supervisions with Clinical Leads where direct line reporting is not undertaken by a Registered Nurse
  • Maintain oversight of the Clinical Governance across our services, ensuring clinical indicators are monitored effectively across all services and actions taken as appropriate to address any specific area of concern
  • Maintain oversight of safeguarding concerns across all Baycroft services, providing advice and support on all safeguarding matters in consultation with the Strategic Head of Baycroft
  • Support services to analyse accidents, incidents, safeguarding concerns and identify actions for the wider business to prevent further similar incidents
  • Contribute to the development and review of nursing specific and healthcare related policies and procedures and local protocols
  • Support our teams to promote good and outstanding practice
  • Drive quality improvements by developing and implementing best practice initiatives in partnership with the Strategic Head of Baycroft, Head of CQC Quality and Clinical Governance Lead
  • Work as a Clinical Deputy Manager within a Baycroft service, if there is a vacancy whilst we recruit
What you will need to succeedWe are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will:
  • Be a Registered General Nurse with current NMC pin
  • Proven experience at management level within a care home
  • Well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools
  • Competent in a wide range of clinical interventions
  • Able to identify service improvement measures with the ability to influence and assist staff to deliver change
  • Able to work as part of a team to develop solutions to complex problems, coming to reasoned decisions with comprehensive recommendations
  • Highly organised and able to work to conflicting and challenging deadlines, supported by an ability to plan and prioritise resource
  • In depth knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework for CQC registered services and issues facing the care sector
