You will guide your team members to reflect company strategy in the calculation of risk, margins, competitiveness, forecasting and cost structures. Ensuring optimal balance between competitiveness, profit and risk whilst considering the regulatory environment.You will maintain oversight of the interdepartmental tariff management procedures. Consulting on and ensuring tariff correctness across the business, ensuring procedures reflect the principles on which the tariffs were priced, protecting commercial viability and regulatory compliance.You will be the main source of information and first point of contact within the business for all Pricing and Tariff management.What do we need from youWe are looking for an experienced Pricing Manager who has good commercial awareness. You will use your ability to apply quantitative methods to analyse competitiveness, expected value, risk, forecasting and reconciliation.You will be degree qualified in a quantitative subject (e.g., maths, finance, economics, or statistics), or have an equivalent post-graduate degree or professional qualification related to the energy industry or role an energy degree, chartered accountant, or other energy qualification.You will be analytical, and data-driven with strong Excel and VBA skills. You will have a good understanding of SQL and experience of using database structures. Ideally, you will have knowledge of working on statistical or mathematical analysis software such as R or Python.With your strong communication skills, you will collaborate with stakeholders from all areas of the business, using your influence to manage change and build solid working relationships. It would be advantageous if you have management skills as you will directly manage a team of two analysts.What can we give back in return
