Job Description

Project Role to assist a business prepare data for packaging, WEEE and BatteryOpportunity to add value for 3 month Interim ContractClient DetailsMy client I am recruiting for is a large re-sell and retailer of Technology Products who have sites across the UK. They are based within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain & Electronics sector .DescriptionThe Key responsibilities would be for the Interim project Manager (Packaging, WEEE and Battery waste)

  • To pull together packaging, WEEE and Battery waste submission data
  • To submit the tonnage of packaging, electronic waste and batteries
  • Im looking for someone with up to date legislative knowledge in this area and have set up similar processes with other businesses.
  • Make recommendations and upskill employees in this area
    • ProfileThe successful Interim project Manager (Packaging, WEEE and Battery waste) will have a proven track record of working within the WEEE industry.
  • Excellent current knowledge of the WEEE system
  • Desirable if previous WEEE systems are understood
  • Understanding of how Producer Compliance Schemes operate
  • Experience of preparing WEEE reports
  • Very good understanding of all office based software packages Word, Excel, Sage, Outlook
  • Working knowledge of the AATF community
  • Recognise the role and position of producers within the scope WEEE
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound financial background
  • Consider working within the South East England
