Job Description

Hard Services Key Account Manager - UK & IrelandWe are working with a leading Manufacturing client to recruit a Hard Services Key Account Manager to oversee service delivery in the UK & Ireland. We are also looking for expertise to grow my clients commercial capability in Hard Services.This full-time permanent role will be responsible for mobilising and managing a new client contract full time for the first three months then reduced to 3 days per week, the other 2 days will support our commercial team growth and tendering for hard services.Main responsibilities:

  • To perform all hard facility services, such as reactive or planned maintenance works, building fabric works.
  • Oversee a maintenance program comprising of Planned Preventative and Reactive Maintenance delivering PPMs against plan
  • Providing a safe working environment for building users and visitors
  • Maximizing the life cycle of the building, plant, all equipment installed, ensuring effective and efficient use of all the assets
  • Enabling building users to effectively conduct their core business functions
  • Ensuring effective and efficient energy consumption of building, technical installations.
  • Consumables and all necessary spare parts for high-risk equipment are always available on site based on the maintenance program the service.
  • Minimize any failure in power downs, breakdowns of equipment, accidents, or any other incidents to a minimum level.
  • Manage the development and implementation of local and corporate policies and procedures within Hard Services so that a compliant service is delivered in line with contractual requirements, legislation and corporate policy through the Hard Services Coordinatorsand Site Service Maintenance Technicians (SSMTs)
  • To collaborate with the Client Site Managers, Hard service coordinators and employees to ensure that the operational contract maintains legal compliance through appropriate documented processes and procedures. Ensuring that the organization follows allrelevant business operating standards.
  • Adherence to contract Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators
  • Develop relationships with the Client Site Managers and coordinators through sound management, improving their knowledge and understanding of operational needs, best practice, training, and techniques so that all solutions are operationally and commerciallyviable and accepted by the supporting team.
  • Management of Hard Services Administration utilizing the knowledge and building on the skills of the Hard Services Administrator.
  • Management of Sub contractors and works being undertaken collaborating with them and the Client Site Managers and Coordinators.
  • Assist in the process of gaining suitable best practice accreditation
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Finance, Procurement & Project Management, Operational teams and keeping up to date with developments as appropriate.
  • Oversee and guide our Operational team for Cleaning and Security Services.
  • Prepare all KPI and Quarterly Business Review reporting, present professionally in Client meetings with highly organised preparation.
  • Be highly responsive and have excellent communication skills.
  • Maintain knowledge of modern technology, innovation, and emerging new products, ensuring potential procurement of such items is commercially viable and appropriate to the business.
  • Oversee and maintain P&L budgets in line with contractual requirements.
  • Support tender preparation and provide guidance for future business opportunities.
Experience required:
  • Experience in delivering Client Services with Operational knowledge of hard FM services
  • Mechanical & Electrical Qualification or equivalent recognised technical accreditation in Facilities Management
  • Health & Safety Qualification (NEBOSH)
  • Competent in the use of Excel, Microsoft Project, and other Microsoft applications
  • Experience of audit and compliance work within the relevant building services
  • Must be team player with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Experience in pricing tenders and project work
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
