Job Description

Business Analyst (ServiceNow)3 months with a view to extendUp to £475 per dayOutside IR35RoleMy client a large infrastructure services provider is looking for a Business Analyst on a contract basis. This person will be instrumental in designing end-to-end processes within the service management transformation programme (deploying ServiceNow) in accordancewith the process management framework.This person will work with the process leads for the different process areas to design simple and efficient processes across the business. Facilitate workshops, consult on best process design and work with programme and operational resources to document processmaps, procedures, work instructions and KPIs.Key responsibilities

  • Design and document business processes and work instructions that are in scope for the release
  • Contribute to the development of new processes through the analysis of relevant data and the development of new solutions
  • Analyse and document business requirements
  • Identify and promote opportunities to continually improve service delivery
  • Engage with all necessary stakeholders to deliver service processes that meet customer requirements and business objectives
Role requirements
  • Support process leads with knowledge on process best practices
  • Design simple and efficient processes fit for purpose
  • Facilitate process design workshops
  • Document processes in line with standards
  • Help identify and define process metrics and KPIs
  • Support business change impact assessment
  • Support User Acceptance Testing
  • Support release during the warranty period
  • Educate on best practices and business process management
Experience
  • Business analyst or process analyst qualification or background, e.g. Babok, Six Sigma, Lean, BPM
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL framework, and processes in Service Transition and Service Operation
  • Strong competence in structured and rigorous working methods
  • Pragmatic problem-solving skills
  • Effective stakeholder influencing and communication skills
  • Experience in service management tools especially Service Now
  • Experience supporting process and system change projects in complicated environments
  • Experience in process management or process re-engineering
  • Experience in business requirements documentation and management
  • Good knowledge of eTOM framework
  • Experience in modeling processes in process management tools such as Casewise, ARIS, iGrafx, Visio
  • Excellent written skills, especially experience writing work instructions and procedures
