Distribution Manager - Must have a CPCBased at Park Royal£45,000-£50,000 plus packageMust have vast experience in managing a FMCG operation and a vast understanding of the demands of operating a fleet of vehicles, up-to-date knowledge of current transport legislation and experience of managing vehicle maintenance contracts.Upkeep of the O-Licence, as Distribution Manager you will lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of legal compliance, best practice, and budgetary control for the DC and a fleet of vehicles. You will offer technical and legal support and ensure effective communication between the team. Your remit will include responsibility for the fleet and its operation and all legislation, fleet legal compliance, transport efficiency initiatives, the management of maintenance vendors, procurement & associated contracts.The role calls for a financially and commercially astute management professional, with the gravitas and flair to identify and deliver improved financial performance across the site. You will provide strategic direction, as well as oversee the day-to-day management. It goes without saying that you will have strong communication skills along with exceptional interpersonal abilities and you must have an up- to- date knowledge of current transport legislation alongside a National CPC.
