Job Title: Young Peoples Development ManagerBased: Olton, Solihull, B27 6PFSalary: £25,840 to £28,000 per annumJob Type: Full time, PermanentClosing Date: 12 noon on Friday 27th March 2020Job Role:This is a new role and you would be joining the trust at an exciting and critical time. They are looking for a Young Persons Development Manager to join them and play an important role in relaunching their young peoples services.They were founded in the 1850s by a benevolent industrialist who wanted to use his wealth to both alleviate and also prevent poverty. His first venture was the provision of a co-housing project for older single women and homeless orphan girls.This really opened his eyes to the needs of orphans and within 10 years, he went on to found Birminghams largest orphanage, with a community school. The orphanage and school closed in the 1960s and the charity has not directly delivered services to young people since this time.Their mission is to use their founders vision and apply it to meaningful services for the most disadvantaged young people across the region.
