Job Description

Vehicle Technician£30,000 to £45,000Our client fosters a professional work environment dedicated to delivering a seamless service to customers. They provide exceptional development opportunities, offering ongoing training to support your continuous growth.Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostics on all workshop vehicles, ensuring work meets the highest standards on the first attempt.
  • Handle electrical and mechanical repairs, covering areas such as suspension, steering, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshaft, exhausts, and air conditioning servicing.
  • Additional duties may involve repairs and maintenance on EV and Hybrid vehicles, utilizing electronic diagnostic equipment for batteries, drive motor, auxiliary drive pack, and control systems.
  • Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment with precision.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Customer Satisfaction and its impact on the business.
  • Complete all service paperwork adhering to manufacturer and brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with other workshop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge-sharing.
About You:
  • Welcoming individuals from various work backgrounds, including independent garages, fast fit centres, car supermarkets, or main dealerships.
  • Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or working towards completion.
  • Electric and Hybrid vehicle qualification or certification is advantageous, with full training provided.
  • MOT License is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a full UK Driving license.
