Job Description

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an organisation based in Solihull. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding team as a Technical Support Developer.Summary You will provide support to the technology function of the business as required, supporting the key day-to-day successful running of the business from a technology perspective.Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the technology team and for internal business requests as directed by the Technology Director
  • Providing support in resolving incidents and service requests raised by internal and external customers
  • Incident management - working within SLA guidelines to resolve incidents
  • Escalating to the Technology Development Director when challenges are identified and working with them to remove impediments to incident progression
  • Raising of problem records and working closely with management teams to ensure the root cause and permanent solution
Skills and experience
  • Experience of Javascript, Typescript, React, Node JS, Firebase, NoSQL and Cloud experience
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Good understanding of rudimentary technology implementations and terminology
  • Understanding of rudimentary cyber security principles including data privacy
  • Experience with rudimentary data processing facilities e.g. python, Excel macros
Package and benefits
  • 37.5 hours between, 8am - 6pm
