We are recruiting for a temporary to permanent warehouse/stores person to work at one of our fantastic clients based in Shirley, starting on Monday 6th December. They were established in 1985 as the sole importer and distributor of lockwood products in theUK. Today they import a wide range of Architectural Ironmongery products, including stainless steel door lever handles, stainless steel pull handles, locks, latches and accessories.This is a full-time role working 8.30-5.15pm Monday-Friday within their Shirley warehouse. The role will initially be working on a temporary basis before becoming permanent. The hourly pay rate for this role is £9-£12 per hour dependant on experience.Duties will include:Picking and packing customer ordersLoading and unloading itemsConducting stock checkingWorking in the store helping to serve customersAdditional warehouse duties as requiredSkills required:Some experience working within a warehousePicking and packing experienceExperience using PIP sheetsIdeally some experience working as a stores person on the counterExcellent customer services skillsA "can-do" attitude, enthusiasm and ability to work on their own initiativeExperience working within a hardware store is preferableAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
