Job Description

Social Media ManagerThe RoleMy client is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager for a 12 month maternity cover. You will be responsible for their consumer-facing social presence across owned and earned social. They are redefining their social landscape and this role will place you at the heart of delivering strategies for my client; building social communities to drive revenue, channel and brand growth.Reporting into the Senior Social Media Manager, you will be joining a new era of social media for my client and be responsible for driving unprecedented growth in engagement and loyal followers.Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a monthly social media calendar for each platform, leveraging market trends, social listening, brand marketing and business objectives to maximise relevance of storytelling to drive engagement, reach, and follower growth
  • Execution across social media platforms, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube etc.
  • Briefing of social media copy, usage of hashtags, and alignment with brand tone of voice
  • Agency management and utilisation, ensuring maximum benefit and aligned output
  • Maintaining a direct relationship with social media platform representatives
  • Ensuring the social media budget is used to maximise ROI and achieve business plans
  • Monitoring social community management and moderation, in collaboration with the Customer Service team
  • Ensuring all data is used effectively, including social listening and sentiment monitoring
  • Regular reporting and campaign analysis
  • Knowledge & experience for the role
  • 5+ years experience in social media.
  • Huge ambition to drive growth, with a proven history of exceeding targets and delivering profitable growth
  • In house experience within the retail industry is preferable
  • Extensive knowledge of the major social media channels and management platforms
  • Understanding of social and content analytic tools and processes
  • Experience working in a cross functional capacity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must hold a valid UK driving licence due to location of the company
  • Salary: Up to £40,000, depending on experienceHours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, 12 month fixed term contract Required skills
