Job Description

Our client an exciting Proptech company are looking for a SI Team Lead / Senior AWS Cloud engineer to work closely with an engineering team tuning and accelerating engineering outcomes and improving the way they deliver their solution.Responsibilities

  • This technical role is to maintain, manage and continuously improve the clients infrastructure, build, deployment, code and system processes. They require engineers who can innovate and drive change in development and operation practices
  • Manage a team of AWS Cloud Engineers
  • Develop our internal tools using Python, Ansible and Lambdas
  • Manage and continuously develop our AWS-based infrastructure as code to automatically handle continuous integration, rolling deployments, failover, auto-scaling, and backups using: AWS EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, IAM, EKS, SQS, ElastiCache, ECR and CloudWatch
  • Implement and fine-tune continuous build processes using AWS code pipeline, MySQL and other integrations
  • Monitor and analyse metrics/logs using tools
Requirements
  • 5+ years professional experience in as DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • 5+ years solid experience as a developer.
  • Solid experience using Python
  • Good understanding of cloud-native architectures
  • Strong broad knowledge of AWS
  • Proficient in infrastructure as a code using CloudFormation and AWS CDK
  • Linux systems administration, and bash scripting
  • Log analytics and platform monitoring
  • Deep understanding of information security technologies and principles
  • Experience in security monitoring and implementing improvements
