Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant | Solihull, B93 | £95-£105 | long-term to perm | ASAPAre you a welcoming and nurturing individual with a passion to help improve the education of children with special educational needsLTF Recruitment are offering an exciting opportunity with our partnered alternative provision based in Solihull. We are looking for someone who is keen to help improve the education and wellbeing of all pupils, as well as aiding to create a positive andinclusive environment. The role has is long term and has potential to be permanent subject to a successful trial period.Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Working alongside the classroom teacher and promote a positive learning environment that is also stimulating for children with SEN needs including ASD and ADHD.
  • Quickly build strong working relationships with students, and act as a positive role model.
  • Promote and reinforce self-esteem and encourage achievement and development in students.
  • Set individual targets and monitor them closely to help design appropriate learning material.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Have previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help students succeed.
  • A level 3 TA qualification or equivalent is desirable.
