Job Description

Job Title: Construction Business Development ManagerMy client is currently seeking a motivated Construction Business Development Manager to join there dynamic team. This position will be based at there office in Earlswood and offers a permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This role presents an excitingopportunity within a small team, allowing the ideal candidate to carve their own path and leave their mark on the business.My client is a reputable nationwide commercial construction company with a prestigious client portfolio including Tesco, Sainsburys, and Amazon. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by proactively building and expandingthere network of contacts to generate new opportunities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business prospects within the industry.
  • Generate and follow up on leads to convert potential clients into valued partners.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations, effectively showcasing the capabilities of the company
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceptional service is delivered.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market shifts, and competitor activities.
  • Track and report on the growth of the client base to management.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Provide support to the team by undertaking additional duties as necessary to meet business objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience in Business Development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing abilities.
  • A proven ability to cultivate and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
