Job Description

Sales & Business Development Executive - Manchester & Birmingham - Driving License and Car RequiredOTE £50k+ in the first year. Uncapped CommissionMorson Talent are delighted to be working with a growing Research & Devleopment organisation with significant investement who are looking to recruit a number of Business Development Executives into their expanding Sales team in their offices in Altrinchamand Solihull. The Business Developments Executives are responsible for delivering ambitious client acquisition and revenue growth objectives. Supported by the business and through generating your own leads and engaging new contacts, as well as maximising anyreferral or future opportunities - the key is long term relationships to help drive new client engagements.This is not your typical Sales role with the majority of leads coming through referrals through the system with the role coming with very high on target earnings and uncapped commission.This role does not offer hybrid working.Role Duties

  • Attend meetings set by the internal sales development team.
  • Book and attend self-generated meetings.
  • Close new business sales opportunities
  • Create a referral Network (accountants and business introducers)
  • Development and maintain relationships with your clients.
  • Acquire technical knowledge of products and sufficient to exceed your goals.
  • Produce timely and successful resolution of client escalations when appropriate.
  • Represent the business at conference and trade fairs and networking events.
  • Source and arrange seminars with associates/ corporate partners.
  • Be responsible for delivering the appropriate documents from the client for the pre-qualification process and signing the client up.
  • Use sales techniques to identify needs and close any opportunities presented.
BDM profile
  • Someone who has a minimum of 2 years B2B experience.
  • Able to demonstrate client relationship management, development, and retention skills.
  • Someone who is open to learning and understands Research and Development services and position them against our competition.
  • Someone with a proven track record in exceeding revenue and retention targets
  • The person must be able to use in-house system to generate positive outcomes.
  • Good general IT skills
Role Objectives
  • To generate a minimum of £20000 monthly revenue
  • Achieve a minimum of 4 sales per month increasing to 6 after probation.
  • Delivering a minimum of 8 self-generated meetings per month
  • To make a set number of calls per month as agreed with manager.
  • To maximize internal sales opportunities
