Job Description

React Developer - Solihull (Remote) - GBP 35,000-45,000 DOEI am currently working with a software company based in Solihull. My client is looking for a React Developer to join their dynamic IT team. This role would be mainly remote, you would have to come into the office 1-2 times a month.The successful applicant will have 3+ years of commercial experience developing single-page web applications. They will collaborate closely with the team to create new and maintain existing features.Responsibilities

  • Share and learn from each other to improve your own and your teams skills
  • Build React applications
  • Write and maintain unit and e2e tests
  • Monitor, investigate, and resolve production issues
  • Proactively suggest ideas and improve the current applications
  • Work closely with QA engineers to improve our automated testing
  • Pair program with engineers and QA to solve problems
Requirements:
  • React, Redux
  • SOLID principles and Design Patterns
  • Git
  • Jest, Enzyme
  • Cypress or Detox
  • RESTful APIs
Desirables:
  • TDD
  • Experience with Java and Tomcat applications
