Job Description

React Developer - £35,000 - £45,000 - Remote (with travel to Birmingham)My client (after a hugely successful round of recruiting) is looking forward to hiring another React Developer to their growing team.You will be developing existing and new single page applications and mobile applications.Remote working:

  • This role is mainly remote, but you will be required to travel to the clients head office in Birmingham once or twice a month for company meetings.

Skills:
  • 3+ years commercial experience developing single page web applications
  • React, Redux
  • SOLID principles and Design Patterns
  • Git
  • Jest, Enzyme
  • Cypress or Detox
  • RESTful APIs
Desirable Skills:
  • TDD
  • Experience with Java and Tomcat applications
  • MySQL
  • Azure or other cloud platform
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the team to create new and maintain existing features
  • Share and learn from each other to improve your own and your teams skills
  • Build React applications
  • Write and maintain unit and e2e tests
  • Monitor, investigate and resolve production issues
  • Proactively suggest ideas and improve the current applications
  • Work closely with QA engineers to improve our automated testing
  • Pair program with engineers and QA to solve problems
