PRODUCT OWNER - Application Programming Interface (API) Based MidlandsThis is an exciting opportunity for an API Product Owner to join a successful Application programming interface (API) team, managing the roadmaps for APIs.The Product Owner will understand our clients APIs and liaise with stakeholders to come up with the optimal API strategy that delivers the most value back to the business.As API Product Owner, you will be responsible for the planning process, enabling a successful delivery to the plan. They will also ensure our API products are well-documented and maintained for internal and external use.The role:You will be able to take ownership of the roadmap and backlog for improvements and extensions to the Phoebus API, leading the planning process, agreeing on the scope and priority of requirements with stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery ofthe plan.Being expected to Identify and document requirements, and clearly articulate user stories, journey flows and acceptance criteria to enable the successful delivery of technical features in a periodic release deployment.You would be able to build a strong relationship with the various teams including the API and Scurm Master teams; planning delivery sprints and helping to continuously improve the way the team works - encouraging them to inspect, adapt and embrace learnings.The product owner would be responsible for leading regular showcases to present progress to the wider team.REQUIREMENTS Robust Product Owner, Product Management experience within financial services, banking, building society, fintech etcRobust Agile Product Owner experience ideally gained within an agile team, ideally in a FinTech / Financial services organisation, and be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of software development with experience leading a self-supporting developerteam.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Strong technical acumen to help to support sprint planning and any pre-planning sessions and solid planning skills and the ability to always look ahead, highlight issues and risks, providing solutions and meeting deadlines.Ideally having knowledge of Jira, Confluence and similar Agile tools.This role is accessible from Knowle, Dorridge, Solihull, Coventry, Marston Green, Lichfield, Tamworth, Wolverhampton, Edgbaston, Dudley, Stafford, Worcester, Hereford, Bristol, Gloucester, Stroud, Birmingham Airport, Birmingham, Hall Green, Tamworth, Rugby,Kenilworth, Worcestershire, Droitwich, Solihull, Coventry, Marston Green, Birmingham Airport, Birmingham, Hall Green, Tamworth, Rugby, Redditch, Alvechurch, Studley, Wythall, Leamington Spa, Stratford upon Avon, Kenilworth, Worcestershire, Droitwich.
