Whats on Offer:* £40,000 - £42,000* Company Car* Bonus up to £5k* Pension* HolidayHybrid Role - AGILE MANAGEMENT OF YOUR DIARY - Site travel required when needed.2 PRIMARY OFFICES - LEEDS & SOLIHULLThis is a new role, to work in one of the regions leading Professional Service organisation with a turnover in excess of £400m.Continued investment into their Indirect Procurement function is essential to support the growth within their wider group and the demand for procurement partnering is key to deliver further success.It is key that the successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and can embrace a agile environment and work with a wide range of stakeholders to drive value in the service and prove the benefits of great commercial practice.Procurement Category ManagerTHE ROLE:Supporting the Indirect Procurement Strategy, engaging with stakeholders across varying departments, building procurement project plans and driving procurement activity to achieve robust contract delivery and cost savings.Be a key member of the Procurement team supporting the Procurement group strategy with a focus on indirect procurement. This includes:* Support and share ownership in the procurement strategy and vision for the department* Lead on procurement sourcing activity* Develop a programme of procurement requirements across the group* Work with Finance to categorise supplier spend and identify opportunities* Engage and influence key stakeholder associated with the spend analysis to actively create inclusion and seek out new opportunities* Build a procurement tender library for successful tender submissions* Own and manage specific supplier relationships* Contract due diligence with or without an SRM system* Develop processes for workload management and work requests for the procurement department* Take point on Environmental, Compliance and Governance for Social ValueRESPONSIBILITIES:* Promote Procurement as a service across the Corporate Service Directorate* Drive Procurement Projects across professional service categories* Undertake the full procurement project lifecycle to contract award* Support the development of a contract register and SRM system solution* Own administration and maintenance of contract due diligence* Be a self starter* Have accountability for you workloads* Use your commercial intelligence* Seek to Leverage procurement technology* Manage supplier on-boarding with Legal and Compliance* Manage risk exposure and ongoing monitoringKnowledge & Experience:* Degree Qualified, preferably in business management, economics, law or related discipline* Previous procurement experience* Strong analytical and cost calculation skills* Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude* Excellent organisation skills* Proficient in MS Office particularly ExcelIf you want to discuss this position in more detail, please contact Carl Walker at Elevation Recruitment Group.Elevation Recruitment Groups Procurement and Supply Chain division work with a vast range of businesses across Yorkshire and Humberside, Lincolnshire and East Midlands regions.
