PHP DeveloperSolihull£38,000 - £43,000 + benefitsExciting opportunity for an experienced PHP developer to join a leading digital creative agencyA leading digital creative agency is seeking an experienced PHP Developer with excellent coding ability to join their digital team. The client has previously developed websites for companies including Asda, Coco-Cola and Natwest and presents a fantastic opportunity for a PHP Developer to further their career.Essential experience for a PHP Developer:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as PHP Developer
  • HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, PHP 7 (ideally knowledge of other server-side languages)
  • MySQL
  • Git and Github and/or Gitlab
  • Composer / npm
  • OOP design patterns
  • Bootstrap / Foundation
  • A PHP MVC framework (the client uses Laravel, so experience in this is essential)
    • Desirable experience for a PHP Developer:
  • Native mobile app development (iOS or Android)
  • NativeScript or ReactNative
  • At least one of: React / Angular / Backbone / Vue.js
  • Docker
  • Webpack
  • ElasticSearch / Mongo / other NoSQL databases
    • Person Specification
  • Must be creative and dynamic - with plenty of creative, innovative ideas to bring to the table!
  • Ideally an excellent communicator
  • Strong desire to contribute new ideas
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Must be comfortable with working on new technologies/codes
