****NSL GENERAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ADVISOR REQUIRED IN SOLIHULL***** ROLE- NSL GENERAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ADVISOR LOCATION- SOLIHULL/ BLYTH DURATION- 6 MONTHS CONTRACT RATE- ****AJILON CONSULTANT**** The client My client is an international electricity and gas company and one of the largest investor owned Energy companies in the world. They play a vital role in delivering gas and electricity to many millions of people across Great Britain and North-Eastern US in an efficient, reliable and safe manner. The Role We have a requirement for a General Safety Management System (SMS) Advisor, to prepare a SMS for our UK Converter Station in Blyth. The role will be required to develop procedures for the safe operation of the UK Converter Station, which will be in line with interconnector requirements and Corporate policy. The candidate will be required to prepare new documents and review existing documents to develop the overall SMS requirements, documenting the management system to Plan, Do, Check, Act in line with HSG65. The SMS will be required to encapsulate the specific electricity Safety Rules which govern safety from the electricity system. This role will be based in Solihull, so a local person would be beneficial, with occasional travel to Blyth converter site. The assignment is expected to last 6 months, commencing late January 2020 if possible! Key competencies required. * Knowledgeable in UK Health and Safety Legislation* Experience in SMS development, management and assurance processes* Be energetic and a self-starter* Experience with relationship and interface management* MS Word and Excel proficient experienceCandidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.
