Job Description

  • Liquidity risk management oversight: including monitoring, assisting with forecasting and stress testing
  • Liaise with treasury, business personnel and risk managers to ensure the appropriateness of the representation of liquidity risks
  • Closely liaise with Business Lines to validate liquidity risk inputs and calculations
  • Assist with oversight of liquidity and funding stress testing framework, including annual review of parameters
  • Support maintenance/enhancement of liquidity documentation, such as, Liquidity Stress Testing Framework and the ILAAP
  • Forecasting, reconciling and reporting on LCR, OLAR and NSFR
  • Project and monitor daily liquidity. Support with oversight of front line liquidity stress trigger events and potential for liquidity stress, ensuring process for liquidity alerts to management and regulators is effective
  • Provide hands on management support during times of stress, ensuring that contingency plans are implemented effectively
  • Closely liaise with other teams to validate liquidity risk calculations
  • Assist with ALCO reporting, providing support to management in the implementation of the ALCO function
  • To develop and maintain trusted relationships across the Group whilst ensuring high quality deliverables
Experience Required:
  • Liquidity/regulatory experience
  • Studying towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Experience with TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics)
  • A strong desire for a career in liquidity, treasury or financial analysis
  • Confident and able to analyse and present complex information with internal and external customers
  • Ability to assimilate and utilise new information, processes and training
  • Excellent communication skills for written and verbal reporting and ability to present in meetings
  • Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure delivery meets critical deadlines
  • Have a passion for finance and economics with a strong commercial acumen
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Possess intellectual curiosity with proven financial and analytical skills
  • Be able to adopt a logical and systematic approach to problem solving
  • To be flexible and able to adapt within a changing environment
