Gi Group Birmingham are currently looking for an automotive line feeder based in Solihull, Birmingham We are looking for an experienced tow tug driver to join our growing business. We supply parts into 2 high profile car production plants in Birmingham. Shifts will be mixed, (AM) Monday to Thursday 0545 - 1415, Friday 05.45-12.15 and (PM) Monday to Thursday 13.15 - 21.45, Friday 12.00-18.30 Friday.Pays £10.00ph will rise to £10.50ph after a 3 month probation Job specification - duties to include . Load KLTs onto delivery tugs, visually checking labels are present and for mixed condition. Drive delivery tugs to point of fit within JLR plant. Delivery of KLTs to point of fit visually ensuring you are delivering the correct parts and ensuringKLTs are not over stacked.. Ensure correct Odette labels and barcodes are in place on points of fit. Report back anything that isnt labelled correctly to the logistics supervisor or team leader. Ensure barcodes and header boards are in good condition. Ensure KLTs you deliver are not overfilled. Collect empty KLTs for return to the warehouse. Order stock for replenishment and handheld scanners. Perform stock counts within the plant. Complete daily check lists on MHE. Work as part of a team or on your own. Drive company vehicles as required. Adhere to H & S rules at all times. Be flexible to cove shifts and operations at other Espack sites as required. Ensure the is enough parts trackside to cover until the next delivery and bring back any shortages to cover the build.. Cover at other sites if required.
