Job Description

Joining Development Engineer - 39485 - £31.46/hr umbrella rateIf you have Joining Development Engineer experience and youre seeking a new contract role in Solihull, we want to hear from you. Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a Joining Development Engineer, and the role comes witha contract rate of £31.46 per hour (Umbrella, Inside IR35)To give you an idea of how this Joining Development Engineer role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

  • Manage suppliers to deliver a working solution into the production facility
  • Manage vendor joining engineers to deliver technical solutions and capture critical issues with the product
  • Review CAD data for joining solutions and work with CAD and process designers
  • Generate Requests for Quotation (RFQ) with technical details for joining technologies
To apply for this Engineering Development Engineer role, you will need joining Technologies experience. Youll also need:
  • Excel experience
  • CAD
  • Ability to analyse results and provide technical analysis of data
  • Preferred - Self Pierce Riveting (SPR), TIG, MIG, LASER, Resistance Spot Welding, Friction Stir Welding applications, Adhesive, Flow drive screw applications.
