It Support and Infrastructure Technician Based in Shirley, SolihullPaying £24-27k - dependent on experience Perm, Full Time role (Mon-Fri 8-4)A Civil engineering and building contractors is seeking an IT Support ASAP!The purpose of the role is to be the first point of contact for all I.T support issues and ensure the technical admin requirements are supported and maintained.Head office based!Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:* Provide IT support to office and site users.* Ensuring IT tickets are logged and closed out.* Setup and support all mobile phones.* Manage all IT aspects of new starters and leavers including account creation.* Keep all IT records up to date.* Build new laptops and PCs when required.* Ensuring there is sufficient IT Stock.* Providing support to all company software including hosted applications.* Provide day to day management and support of company server and network infrastructure.* Provide support to the Head of IT for all IT Projects.Requirements:* General education equivalent to A level ideally, 5 GCSEs (A-C) minimum.* Understanding of IT systems and competence to resolve issues in isolation.* Basic Active Directory and Windows OS support and use.* Experience in IT system and problem resolution / troubleshooting.* Ability to work under pressure.* Task driven and able to work at a fast pace.* Good communication both written and verbal.* Ability to manage own workload and prioritise task
