Job Description

Job Title: IT Security AnalystLocation:Solihull / Hybrid roleHours:Permanent-Full Time______________________________________________A bit about us:We care about making a positive impact for our colleagues, customers, partners and the wider community. Thats why we live by our values of were positive, were brave and we own it.The Role:The Purpose of this role is to ensure that by working closely with other teams in IT that the day to day activities and operations of the business are secure and compliant with policy, our customer and client data is protected and that we respond efficientlyand effectively to emerging threats.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day to day management of security systems and processes to ensure that an optimal level of security is maintained.
  • Ensure that all systems are kept up to date with the latest security patches, Anti-Malware protection and hardening settings.
  • Complete vulnerability scans of systems and applications, ensuring that all vulnerabilities are recorded, tracked and promptly resolved.
  • Complete security reviews to identify any issues of non-compliance and ensure their resolution (e.g. Administrator Access Reviews).
  • Assist with the implementation of new security systems, controls and processes, and their transition to BAU.
  • Analyse and respond to security alerts. Assist with incident response. Work with teams across the IT Department and wider business to review and contain security related alerts and incidents.
  • Produce monthly reports to provide senior executives with a complete and accurate view of the organizations security posture.
  • Assist with compliance efforts (e.g. PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST) and providing evidence for audit requests. Assist with addressing any issues identified by audits.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of security policies, procedures and reports.
  • Be a point of contact for staff across the business for any questions, concerns or issues in relation to security.
  • Promote security awareness across the business
