Job Description

Position: IT ManagerLocation: Birmingham (Hybrid - 2 days on site)Salary: Upto £70K dependent upon experienceStart date: ASAPRobert Half Technology are currently recruiting for a IT manager to work for a market leading international company. The IT Manager is responsible for the smooth running of the IT department including the management and ongoing development of our IT infrastructure,business applications, ERP Systems, IT hardware as well as O365 and Power Platform. The role holder will also ensure that the businesses intellectual property and digital assets are secure as well as be responsible for building and maintaining modern and robustIT infrastructure to support business performance and efficiency goals.Responsibilities

  • Maintain & develop the IT systems to facilitate smooth and efficient operation by all business users to support high performance.
  • To manage the day-to-day activities to ensure a high level of business support.
  • To manage and develop a capable, motivated IT team with an ethos of continuous improvement and customer service.
  • To act as the main interface on IT matters with the business, parent company and other areas of responsibilities.
  • Partner with the business to plan and deliver IT changes as required - infrastructure, ERP developments and digital solutions, working with solution owners.
  • To define, document & implement IT policies in conjunction with business governance.
  • To manage the IT budget effectively, working with Head of Business Excellence.
  • To manage business relationships with suppliers, including supplier selection and contract & pricing negotiations.
Personal Specification - The skills, knowledge, and experience that the job holder should require to conduct the role effectively.
  • Knowledge of API set-up and maintenance,
  • Previous people management experience,
  • Experience of coaching and developing a team,
  • Experience of working with JIRA
  • Strong project management skills with ability to deliver projects to scope, on time and in budget,
  • Experience of working within a Scrum project,
  • Self-starter with good time management and analytical skills who can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced & Knowledgeable with Cyber Security
