Job Description

Seven Resourcing is looking to recruit an Information Analyst for Solihull MBC on a locum contract working full-time 37 hours per week.Contract is 12 months, PAYE rate is £16.25ph.The role: The post holder will provide public health intelligence, epidemiological and analytical support to improve understanding of Solihulls health needs and health inequalities, working in collaboration with the Senior Public Health Analyst and analysts in theSolihull Observatory and wider NHS.Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide public health intelligence and epidemiology to the Public Health team, other Council staff, the Birmingham and Solihull Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and other partner agencies:
  • Support the development of systems to collect, analyse, interpret, and disseminate health and wellbeing information.
  • Provide GIS and mapping support.
  • Provide summary reports of health and wellbeing information
  • To undertake analyses for the production of specific reports i.e:
  • Joint Strategic Needs Assessments
  • Public Health Annual Reports
  • Health Impact Assessments
  • Health Equity Audits
  • Health Needs Assessments
  • Performance reports.
  • To support the development of statistical, epidemiological and performance information systems.
  • To support the public health team in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • Any other appropriate duties as and when required
Applicant Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) with a mathematical/statistical component or significant relevant data analysis experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role and carrying out statistical analysis and interpretation.
  • Compliance: Up to date Passport.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
