Job Description

Human Resources Apprentice Based in Solihull Paying £20k Perm role We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join the HR department as an Human Resources Apprentice in one of our exciting Civils clients.This role will be ideal for school leavers or those due to complete their A Levels and looking for a chance to kickstart their career, whilst gaining valuable experience within a fast paced and growing organisation.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Provide full administrative support to all areas of the HR function.
  • Maintain the HR database by accurately inputting new starter details and ensuring that records are correct and up to date.
  • Assist with the recruitment process by advertising vacancies.
  • Complete the onboarding process from start to finish.
  • Prepare HR documentation including offers, contracts, contractual changes and leavers letters.
  • Assist with the recruitment of the Groundworks Apprenticeship program.
  • Other duties as reasonably required from time to time.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 GCSEs (Grades A-C / 9-4)
  • The ability to manage your workload effectively.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • High levels of confidentiality.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the Company.
  • An interest in developing a career in HR.
  • Team player.
  • Personable.
  • Proactive.
Desirable
  • A levels or equivalent.
  • Administration experience.
  • Knowledge of HR or recruitment processes.
