Job Description

A Fleet Assistant is required for a unique service provider of transport solutions. You will arrange vehicle hire for Drivers if their car is off the road and provide administrative assistance for the fleet including driver and journey data. Utilise the company software to assist with fleet requirements, rentals, and fleet administration. You will analyse data to improve service, outcomes and passenger experience. Communicate with Drivers regarding their driving styles and behaviours, working closely with them to improve efficiency and their customers journeys. Check and approve rental contracts and costs through to Driver hand over. Plan and communicate vehicle maintenance, MOT, inspections with Drivers and garages. Travel to sites to evidence vehicles and create reports following incidents. Deliver and collect hire vehicles to and from Hubs for rental or return. Obtain footage and driving data and review DashCam recordings & footage. Continuously audit fleet vehicles, to ensure telematics and cameras are operational. Technical support on dashcam systems through to re-format camera hardware. Complete driver licence checks through to actioning penalty notices and fines.We are looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to talk to all people
  • A manual driving licence is essential.
  • Excellent IT skills and are competent in using multiple software
  • Analytical and data skills.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of general motor insurance would be beneficial but full training will be provided
  • A real team player who can bring supportive approach and positivity.
The details:
  • Hours of work 40 hours per week (inclusive of breaks) 9:00-5:30pm Monday to Friday
  • This is a permanent and full time role working from the office
