Sector - Public Sector, Temporary long termHours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Office basedStart Date: ASAP pending SC clearanceLocation: SolihullRole and Responsibilities:- To conduct screening interviews and complete safeguarding referrals for vulnerable asylum applicants.- To capture biometrics (fingerprinting) of all AIU customers prior to the screening interview- To verify and establish any previous immigration history- To act as the first point of contact for all customers arriving in the office and deal effectively with the validation and registration of asylum claimants.- Any Ad-Hoc duties required by the Chief Immigration Officer.Person Specification:- Attention to detail- Ability to work at pace- Able to work independently as well as part of a wider teamThis role will be full time (37 hours) between 8am and 6pm with possibilities of changes. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be able to provide a current passport in order to process SC clearance as well as having 5 years UK address history.
