Job Description

Job Position: ETL DeveloperJob Type: Full Time- hybrid ( 1 day from Solihull office)Work Location: SolihullSalary: £40k per annum+ benefitsNo Sponsorship Provided.The role:

  • Identifying data sources, data processing concepts and methods
  • Evaluating, designing and implementing on-premise, cloud-based and hybrid data engineering solutions
  • Structuring and storing data for uses including but not limited to analytics, data mining, sharing with applications and organisations
  • Harvesting structured and unstructured data. Integrating, consolidating and cleansing data. Migrating and converting data
  • Applying ethical principles in handling data to ensure compliance with latest governance and standards. Ensuring appropriate storage of data in line with relevant legislation
  • Building in security, compliance, scalability, efficiency, reliability, fidelity, flexibility and portability
Experience:
  • 1-2 years Experience as ETL Developer or similar role ( particularly experienced in Extracting & Loading)
  • Strong Skills in SSIS & SQL
  • Data Warehousing Experience
  • Active participation in all team and project-based activities as appropriate
  • Technical documentation including estimations, descriptions and acceptance criteria
  • High quality of code prior to deployment to other environments for committed delivery dates, in line with agreed coding standards, with appropriate testing
  • Use in-depth understanding of current systems to help develop practical business solutions
