Job Description

Job Title: Digital Designer Salary: £35,000 - £40,000Location: SolihullHours: Full Time, Hybrid working is available. Description:Due to expansion our client, a well-respected and long-established financial services company based in Solihull is recruiting a Digital Designer to join their busy team.You will be required to work closely with the Design team you will be responsible for ensuring the consistency and continued improvement of online brand and presence across all channels.The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience in Design and UX.Key Duties:

  • Design and build new websites
  • Write all HTML & CSS
  • Action/oversee CMS build, engaging Group Systems in a timely manner to assist in the implementation as required
  • Follow production briefs to design, build and implement new digital solutions across existing websites (and beyond) to help the business meet its goals.
  • Create UX/UI mock-ups and wireframes for website and web page solutions
  • Manage website content and review existing websites regularly, making (or suggesting) content, technical or design improvements where applicable
  • Adhering to given timescales at all times
  • Act as a reference point and/or providing branding as appropriate for any work carried out to application sites
  • Keep informed of the latest advances in web design & technology
  • Ensure brand consistency is maintained through the following of applicable brand guidelines
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with ER policies, processes, and procedures
  • Be aware of the Groups risk framework, reporting incidents as appropriate
Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • Proficient knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic understanding of JavaScript
  • Strong Knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in responsive design and mobile first design solutions
  • Excellent understanding of user-centred design principles and best practices, web standards and layouts, typography and colour, and web usability standards
  • UX/UI and customer journey mapping and wireframes
  • A positive and creative attitude to change and new requirements or solutions
  • Good attention to detail
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A can-do attitude
