SF are working exclusively with a high quality consultancy firm based in Solihull, offering services across the UK, Europe and North America. They have several offices here in the UK and have clients like BP, London Underground, MOD, Petronas and many more.They have acquired a large business and are looking for a dynamic and proactive Credit Professional to join the team on a temporary basis for 6-9 months. Our client offers flexible and hybrid working Your new role- Chasing up outstanding debts via Phone/E-mail/Letter - Negotiating payment plans and setting up terms and conditions - Starting legal proceedings if clients do not pay their debts on time - All ad-hoc accounting functions to assist the finance team. - Good Excel skills are necessary along with letter writing and communication by telephone - Record chase history and agreed payment timescale on system - Proactive resolution and monitoring of any queries raised on bills What youll need- Excellent customer service - Previous experience in a busy Credit Control department - Analytical skills and thorough attention to detail - The ability to listen and negotiate with customers - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Persistence and determination - Familiarity with data entry software - Ability to work well in a team
