WHAT YOULL DO On a day-to-day basis, youll be helping to create original quality content for our games. A team player, we are looking for an individual who enjoys the creative challenge of original art generation and is always open to constructive criticism. An adaptableapproach and experience of various creative styles is a necessity in this role.The department works in a fast-paced environment, so there is a need to be organised and balance multiple game assets. Most meaningfully the role is about having a can-do attitude with the ability to offer creative design solutions whilst having fun. HOW YOULL DO IT The successful candidate will be working within a team of other creative designers, reporting to a team lead and the Creative Manager. • We use all the industry standard programmes to develop the look of our games, Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) along with 3d packages and animation programmes Blender and Spine. We would expect a competent knowledgein most of these programmes for the candidate to be successful.
• Our games are highly interactive and a knowledge of animation, asset creation and texture packing are a necessity.
• The ability to show a variety of illustration styles and techniques enabling delivery to our wide range of games.
• Creative typographical skills would be required.
• The ability to show your ideas, to be able to communicate those in the form of sketching will be highly beneficial in your role.
• Great communication skills, you will be having conversations with a variety of departments as your role develops and sometimes these are key discussions taking the product forwards.
• A passion for your art, an eye for detail, motivation to produce creative content that is both entertaining and of high quality is essential.
