Control Room OperativeReporting to the Reporting ManagerBasedin: SolihullSalary: The salary banding starts from £36,500 but could be negotiable based on experience. Also the company offer a market leading benefits package and annual bonus.Position overview:As the Control Room Operator (CRO), you will be part of the Control Room Operations team reporting to the Control Room Supervisor working a 3-shift system Monday to Friday and providing weekend cover on a 12 hour basis in conjunction with a morning and afternoonshift when required. You will be the first line monitoring mechanism for the Operations team using the Control System to monitor engine plant parameters, reporting deviations and resetting alarms under permitted conditions on the UK portfolio power plant.You will also monitor the security alarm/CCTV systems across the portfolio and support an out of hours 3rd party monitoring company. You will be required to interact and communicate with the FieldService Engineers on topical items such as maintenance and test windows coupled with liaising with the commercial team where there are business opportunities to run the plant.During quieter periods, you will provide support to the operations team on other aspects of the team deliverables which include but not limited to organizing and reviewing documentation, sharing best practice and supporting the computerised maintenance managementsystem (CMMS).You will be expected to demonstrate the appropriate behaviours and commitment towards health and safety to ensure we maintain our first-class safety cultureKey responsibilities:
