Job Description

Berry Recruitment are Currently looking for a commis chef for our client based in Earlswood Solihull.The client caters for weddings, meetings, events, private dining, as leisure and corporate guests; and believe in providing the highest standards of food and service to their guests.Ideally, you will be passionate about cooking, ensuring the highest standard of food preparation. You should work well with others, understand the importance of allergen regulations, and be able to maintain cleanliness and hygiene levels.If you have photographs of your food, we would love to see them.Responsibilities

  • Working as part of an established brigade who take a pride in their work, creating dishes to the highest standard
  • Presenting perfect dishes to time, with attention to the quality and freshness of food and ingredients
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Skills you will learn:
  • Excellent culinary skills
  • Develop interpersonal and communication skills and able to work as part of a team
  • the ability to remain calm and work effectively under pressure whilst retaining a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent time management
  • Become fully compliant with basic food hygiene and allergens legislation and understand their importance in the kitchen
