Job Description

Investigo are partnering with an FMCG client based in Solihull looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst on a 12 month FTC.In the position of Commercial Finance Analyst Solihull you will support the commercial and financial assessment of pricing, promotional and ranging activities. The role also includes detailed pricing and scenario modelling, in turn contributingto key business decisions. Additional remit includes analysis and reporting on the viability and profitability of product and site level pricing and menu changes. Other key duties to include:

  • Business partnering the Marketing and Operations teams and management of a brand / format.
  • Price Setting / Analysis - Brand, Site and Product level
· Modelling the potential impact of changes to pricing strategies / structures· Performance analysis of pricing and promotion changes / trials post the event using various data sources· Menu Pricing - Food / Cocktails / Wine / New products· Commercial support for marketing in brand range, pricing and promotional activity· Using data and analysis to provide performance insight into formats
  • Promotional Modelling and Analysis
  • Modelling the potential impact of new/amended promotional and marketing activity
  • Modelling the potential impact of new/amended range and menu changes
  • Assessing the success of various activity and providing recommendations for the future
  • Site Analysis
  • Working with Operations and Marketing in proposing pricing and offers for new investments
  • Contributing to bi-annual site level overall pricing and promotional reviews
  • Ad Hoc site level price / promotional reviews
Analysing impact of pricing and promotions on site level performance and providing recommendations for next stepsThe ProfileThe successful candidate will ideally have previous core pricing analysis or commercial data background with ability to manipulate and present financial information to all level of stake holdersKnowledge of EPOS data or other Business Intelligence applications is essentialMust be able to work both as part of a team and independently.Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships in order to effectively business partner key stakeholders.Show initiative, be capable of problem solving and offer solutions.The Salary£40,000 to £48,000 plus full benefits package and Hybrid working circa 2 to 3 days office based
