Commercial Finance Manager£60,000 + package, Solihull, 2 days on site.Trinity House Group are working on an exclusive basis with an award-winning, high-growth, private equity-backed technology business who are recruiting for a qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA) to join them as a Commercial Finance Manager.The role which has no month-end responsibilities, offers huge commercial scope, dealing with board-level stakeholders to influence everything from cost saving to new entity integration. You will also manage a well-performing finance team of 10.The Role:· Identify cost savings across areas of supplier spend and ensure expected savings are banked. Based on an understanding of the business commercials identify opportunities for further savings· Establish a robust and agreed preferred supplier listing· Management of the monitoring and analysis of costs and savings, report findings and develop proposals for action to realise savings· Ensure that costs incurred are correctly billed onto end users· Overall management of overheads including licencing and subscriptions· Reconciliation of what is being billed to the customer and identification of gaps to be addressed· Ensure supplier DD’s relate to authorised and needed expenditure· Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders across the Business· Produces detailed analysis which when presented influences decision-makers at all levelsRequirements:· Qualified accountant or equivalent with demonstrable experience in financial control and accounting.· Commercial Awareness - Demonstrates strong business understanding to enable the identification of cost-saving opportunities and is able to quantify the commercial impact of supplier management decisions.· Leadership - Ability to inspire, influence and motivate individuals across the organisation. Is an effective Financial Manager with strong personal and professional credibility.· Relationship Management - Able to establish strong relationships at all levels. Works closely with the CFO and other members of the senior management Team.· Analysis - Able to analyse financial performance to drive decision-making.
