Assistant Management Accountant - Solihull - 6 Months Contract - £30,000 permanent equivalentPosition: Assistant Management Accountant Location: SolihullContract: 6 Months Hours: Full Time, HybridRole Details - Assistant Management AccountantI am currently working alongside a leading business in their recruitment of an Assistant Management Accountant on a 6 month contract. The role will be based in Solihull and will be paid hourly rate with the perm equivalent salary of £30k.Key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant * Prepare the content for and lead the monthly meetings maintenance and contract managers.* Business partner for the operation managers supporting with any ad-hoc requests.* Report month end results and investigate / address variances.* Maintain the maintenance & refuse balance sheets and P&L lines.* Own the new reporting/KPI pack.* Log, check, obtain approvals and code invoices and ensure accruals correctly accounted for.Key skills required of the Assistant Management Accountant * Experience with Oracle NetSuite * Able to interview/start at short notice.* Experience with journal postings* Strong technical and analytical skills.* Knowledge of balance sheet control and internal audit controls process.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.* Ability to work on my own initiative and as part of a team.* Ability to juggle multiple tasks.Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
