Job Description

Arborist Solihull£26,000 - £31,000We are currently seeking several Arborists for our Horticulture and Arboriculture clients that will work out their Solihull depot but covering the Midlands area. full training provided.Responsibilities for Arborist

  • Tree maintenance, including pruning, hedge cutting, removal of trees.
  • Maintain tools and report any damages as an Arborist.
  • Provide specialized ground maintenance and routine ground maintenance.
  • Deliver a quality service to our clients and customers’ requirements.
  • Fully complete reports – accidents, near misses, hazards
  • Remain polite and professional whilst dealing with customers.
  • Communicate effectively with the team, including supervisors and contract managers.
  • Willing to take on training when required.
  • Support the Lead a team of Arborists.
  • As an Arborist you will meet deadlines.
  • Utilise the most economic and effective work practices.
Requirements for Arborist
  • NPTC CS Units, e.g., CS30.1 &30.2, CS31, CS398, CS39, CS41 (or equivalent)
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Knowledge of all arboriculture operations.
  • Tree Climbing Experience/Certificates
  • Experience of working in the arboriculture industry – advantageous.
  • Working knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and WAH regulations.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Work on own and part of a team.
