Job Description

Role: AdministratorTemporary contractLocation: Solihull B91 Salary: Up to £13 per hour dependent on experienceDuration: Until May 2024We are recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join a reputable employer to start immediately supporting on a temporary basis. As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to a busy department to include raisingpurchase orders, liaising with external suppliers and contractors and maintaining compliant data records.Working time working hours Monday to Thursday 9am until 5pm then Friday 8.30am until 4pm. This role is based full time in their offices near Solihull town centre. Free parking is available onsite. This is a temporary contract position until May 2024, butcould lead to a permanent position for the successful candidate.Role and responsibilities:

  • As an Administrator you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the Department
  • Liaising with external suppliers and contractors to obtain prices for goods and work required by phone and email
  • Raising purchase orders and sales invoices as required
  • Liaising with internal departments such as Finance to advise on outstanding queries
  • Ensuring compliance with procedures and accurate record keeping
  • Organise meetings and prepare any reports as required
  • Assist with providing cover front of house to assist with queries face to face on the helpdesk
  • General administrative tasks as required by the department
Skills and experience required:
  • Proven experience in a similar Administrator or Administrative Coordinator role is essential
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills to handle data efficiently
  • Excellent levels of attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Effective communicator at and proactive nature
