Job Description

Our client are looking forExperienced Forklift Truck Driversto join their team working in the busyBarway (Ely)site, you must have a UK FLT Licence and be comfortable working with handheld scanning devices in a fast-paced environment. Shift patterns in operation, competitive rates of pay.As aForklift Truck Driveryou will be responsible for:

  • Picking items as detailed on Picking Lists to meet customer sales requests for 100% service level. This will involve the selection of full pallets and the breaking down of other pallets to build composite pallets of multiple products.
  • Ensure that all expected pallets and cases are present before load is despatched to achieve 100% customer service level.
  • Advise collection driver of temperature requirements of his vehicle for delivery and ensure accurate loading temperature
  • Unloading incoming products direct from our internal sites and from suppliers, ensuing labels are fixed to pallets and moving them to appropriate locations
  • Following process for QA inspection on supplier product
  • Ensuring that all goods received and picked items are recorded accurately on our hand held scanning equipment
  • Dealing with rejected or returned goods in line with set policy and process
  • Ensuring that all packaging items are receipted, stored, and despatched in line with company procedures and customer expectations
  • Ensure correct stock rotation at all times, ensuring that no over production is generated via incorrect stock picking
  • Ensuring product temperature policy is adhered to at all times
  • Ensure all key driver policies and health & safety policies are observed at all times
